We are looking to grow our team in Grande Prairie, AB

**Position we are hiring for**:Coordinator - HSE

**Responsibilities**:

- Advising the employees and supervisors on Project Safety Plans relating to the scope of work.
- Support all field activities including administrative tasks that fall under HSE.
- Coach, mentor, and correct any unsafe practice that does not comply with the company's policies, JSA's, codes of practice, or safe work practices as per our Health and Safety Program.
- Authority to stop any work that posses an imminent danger to workers and employees.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Minimum OH&S certificate, NCSO or equivalent
- 2-years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and codes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to research and implement solutions to HSE issues.
- Strong working knowledge of company HSE policies, practices, procedures, and code of practice.
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills combined with the ability to resolve issues.
- Ability to build positive working relationships in order to achieve goals and business objectives.
- Maintain a calm demeaner during times of crisis, strong stress-management skills.
- Excellent computer skills

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
