We are currently seeking a passionate, and highly motivated, year-round, **Clubhouse Manager **to join our team. Reporting to the General Manager, the Clubhouse Manager will provide leadership and management to the food and beverage department, locker room and maintenance staff. The Clubhouse Manager will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of all food and beverage areas and the clubhouse facility.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 years in club food and beverage, hospitality management.
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Previous private club experience is an asset.
- Multi-department management experience is an asset.
- Proficient in Jonas Club Software is an asset.

**General responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Manages the floor during service hours ensuring that members and guests are well taken care of.
- Liaisons with the Chef during service.
- Handles members’ complaints resulting from areas of responsibility and advises the General Manager of corrective actions taken.
- Ensure effective hiring, orientation and training plans are in place for areas of responsibility, conducts regular performance reviews for personnel in areas of responsibility.
- Plans staffing requirements, schedules, and work routines for department staff to meet service standards and sales cost ratios. Ensures all areas are staffed appropriately at all times.
- Attends all major Club hospitality related events to ensure member satisfaction with Food and Beverage and hospitality operations.
- Conducts daily inspections of facilities to ensure that the highest standards of repair, housekeeping and general maintenance are practiced and ensures that all safety, sanitation, and energy management standards are achieved.
- Helps plan and approve external and internal marketing and sales promotion activities for the Food and Beverage operation in conjunction with the Executive Chef and General Manager.
- Ensures that legal obligations in connection with the Liquor License are maintained..
- Wine Program - Purchasing, inventory, new lists and sales.
- Liquor and Beer Program - Purchasing, inventory, new lists and sales.

**Job Requirements (but are not limited to)**:

- Fundamental knowledge of wine, beer, food and beverage, golf, tennis and curling.
- Able to work for extended periods of time and able to make immediate decisions to ensure membership satisfaction.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
