As the Database Administrator you are responsible for day-to-day development and control of the definition, organization, protection and documentation of databases in accordance with data administration plans, policies, procedures and standards.

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree, diploma, or certification in the computer science field or related field and three (3) years of *related experience.
- An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
- Related experience must include each of the following:

- Providing database management and advisory services in a complex IT environment.
- Performing day-to-day Oracle database operations including Oracle Backup and Recovery. procedures and RMAN and Datapump methodologies.
- Planning and implementing patches and upgrades.
- Performing Oracle database performance troubleshooting and tuning.
- Developing UNIX/Linux shell scripts for DBA tasks.
- Writing complex SQL queries.

Preference may be given to applicants with the following:
Experience with Postgres, Mongo or other open-source databases and/or MySQL.

Willingness Statement:
Willingness to work overtime and provide on call support.
