**Summary**:
The Automotive Back Parts Window Associate works in a fast-paced auto service environment and supports Automotive Licensed Technicians in locating and providing the right parts for auto repairs in the Automotive Service Centre. This role involves the use of a computerized automotive parts and service look-up systems, which includes estimates for repair orders, ordering, controlling and maintaining inventory accuracy.

**Main Responsibilities and Tasks**:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, over the phone.
- Answer and direct calls, providing information about automotive parts, services, and general inquiries.
- Schedule and coordinate customer appointments for automotive services.
- Provide expert advice on automotive parts, ensuring customers receive the right products for their vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, appointments, and sales transactions.
- Assist with inventory management, stock orders, and product displays as required.
- Collaborate with the service and sales teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and resolve them effectively.
- Responds to and handle customer inquiries, requests and concerns in a timely manner.
- Works with the Automotive Back Parts Specialist to order automotive parts, products through authorized suppliers.
- Quotes parts and tire pricing and availability.
- Liaises with Automotive Service Centre staff to ensure estimates are accurate and professionally formatted.

**Requirements**:
**Proven experience in automotive parts and service is a requirement of this position. Those without this skill, need not appply.**
- Basic math and typing skills.
- Good working knowledge of automotive parts lookup system.
- Experience in a similar role, in a Canadian Tire store or Auto Service Centre, is considered an asset.
- Strong retail knowledge with prior experience in a customer service role.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) software.
- A friendly and approachable demeanor with a customer-first attitude.
- Knowledge of automotive products, tools, and services is a must.
- Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in automotive or related industries.
- Ability to serve customers in a professional manner and to inspire their confidence and trust.
- Detail-oriented individual who completes tasks according to instructions and demonstrates responsibility for outcomes.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment that provides assistance and support to co-workers to achieve common goals.
- Ability to multitask, adapt and cope with challenging and changing situations
