**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items that reflect current culinary trends.
- Manage inventory levels, placing orders for kitchen supplies as needed.
- Assist with bartending duties when required, ensuring timely service to guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, promoting teamwork among staff.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate kitchen staff.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and management.
- A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.55-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
