**Job Description**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Specialist to join our North American team. Reporting to the Director Brand & Communications, you will support in the execution of the marketing strategy with a focus on developing a social media content strategy and activate across our social media channels. You will be responsible for the content and creative execution of all social media and online community marketing initiatives, while continuously seeking opportunities to optimize brand awareness and communication across our social platforms.

**Please note: We operate on a hybrid model of working (in-office and remote).**

**In this role, you will work closely with our team in Australia and will require someone who is open to adjustable and flexible working hours, to allow for meetings between 5 PM - 7 PM approximately 1-2 times a week.**

**What you'll do**:

- Creation of organic content calendar Month over Month in support with global content committee
- Writing daily posts across social channels, including developing content, pulling articles, creating polls etc.
- Active management of social media properties including daily posts across all platforms; LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, Instagram, X
- Trustpilot management - replying to all customer reviews, managing suppressions, optimizing platform + continuous communication Trustpilot through monthly meetings
- Proactively research ways to optimize presence across social platforms and work to develop relationships with external vendors (social channel partners)
- Support reporting and analytics for social media platforms + Trustpilot
- Lead competitive review - quarterly competitive analysis report on what key competitors are doing across social, website and product offerings
- Develop and maintain social media guidelines and policy for organization
- Stay on top of the latest social media trends and platforms
- Develop curated posts for executives and key employees to grow engagement and following
- Explore new social media strategies, such an influencer program

**Qualifications**:
**What you bring**:

- A hard-working team player that loves to collaborate, leads with a can-do attitude, and thrives managing multiple projects
- Experience with Sprout (social media management platform), WordPress, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Experience creating and managing social media properties
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field of study
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or product marketing
- Experience in Fintech, finance, business, card and payment space is an asset

The salary range for this position is $69,000.00 - $75,000.00 CAD. Exact salary offered will be dependent on multiple factors including level of experience, job-related knowledge, skills, work location, etc. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for a variable bonus and/or commission. As part of the compensation package, benefits are also offered for all full-time roles and part-time roles working a minimum of 24 hours a week.
