The RISQ Division's mission is to contribute to the development of the SG Group's activity by facilitating the objectives of the Business Lines while maintaining independent oversight through risk evaluation and monitoring. The RISQ Division in the US supports all the activities in the Americas Region (US, Canada and Latin America), which are almost exclusively corporate and investment banking-oriented.

Within the RISQ Division, the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) department has the following remit, across all risk types to which SG’s US operations (SGUS) are exposed:

- Coordinate risk analysis reporting to risk committees, including SG’s Enterprise Risk Committee, Executive Committee’s Risk Committee, and SG’s Board of Directors Risk Committee;
- Establish, and monitor adherence to, Risk Appetite Statements for SGUS and its business lines;
- Coordinate and enhance SGUS’s risk identification and assessment framework, and conduct periodic risk identification and assessment campaigns;
- Coordinate and enhance SGUS’s stress testing framework, and conduct periodic stress testing exercises;
- Coordinate the Permanent Control framework in SG’s Americas region (this function);
- Organize and monitor SGUS’s risk management framework, risk committees, and roles and responsibilities for all lines of defense;
- Oversee SGUS’s policies and procedures; and

Contribute to the development and usage of a “Governance, Risk and Compliance” (GRC) information system architecture across SGUS.

During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities:
**1.Risk Appetite Statement (“RAS”)**
- Provides assistance in ongoing maintenance of the Risk Appetite Statement including renewals (effective challenge, maintenance of metrics/limits, review & alignment to BL’s strategy, etc.).
- Partner across the bank to strengthen the overall risk assessment and monitoring processes.
- Maintain a control framework for the RAS metrics

**2. Coordinate all aspects related to enterprise-level Risk Committees**
- Work with the Risk team in assessing and supervising risk functions in the Americas including effective challenge across a wide range of risk types.
- Liaise with risk stripes and business lines for timely and accurate contributions.
- Review key risk metrics, including breaches of limits and thresholds, and provide in depth analysis of material events potentially impacting the firm.
- Continued maturity and ongoing maintenance of tools/systems to support the enterprise in producing aggregate risk analysis reports.
- Update or document Enterprise Risk guidelines and procedures.
- Interact with the business lines to prepare the different committees and follow-up conditions determined by the risk functions.

**3.ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) automation, data and analytics**
- Participates to the conception and roll out of the enterprise-wide risk data architecture within the GRC framework
- Elaborates user requirements, interactions with business analysts and developers
- Conducts User Acceptance Test (UAT) for elements of the GRC framework
- Implements and rolls out of user data and analytics solutions and reporting
- Maintain and improve the existing data model for stress testing production and reporting processes.
- Support the management and oversight of the strategic risk related processes.
- Support the enhancement of reporting, automation & analytics capabilities of existing risk management frameworks.

**Profile**
- Graduate from Actuarial Mathematics/Science, University with Master’s degree in finance, Engineering school or Business School.
- You ideally have a previous experience in Risk Management, Financial Modeling, Financial Control Systems or Operations in a Capital Markets context.
- You are creative and able to extrapolate knowledge of theoretical concepts to problem solving situations.
- Proven attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to summarize.
- Ability to manage own priorities and meet deadlines in a changing environment.
- You are fluent in English.
- You are proficient with MS Office
- You are ideally proficient in at least one of the following tools: SQL Server Management Studio, PowerBI (DAX), Python or Excel’s VBA.
