Wesgar Inc. provides employees with a great working environment. An opportunity to join our team has become available and we are currently seeking an Assembly Technician to assist in our Assembly department.
As an Assembly Technician, your main role is to assemble mechanical assemblies, as directed by the Coordinator or a Senior Technician, productively and with excellent quality.
The tasks that you may be asked to complete include, but are not limited to:
- **Main Job Duties**:_
- Assemble sheet metal parts and materials into finished assemblies using appropriate assembly techniques
- Reading and interpreting blueprints
- Set up and safely operate a variety of hand and power tools
- Use jigs and fixtures to assist with assembly tasks
- **Skills and Attributes**:_
- 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing required.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of various power tools
- Ability to follow instructions both written and verbal
- Can work independently and meet deadlines
- Physical stamina, able to stand for long periods of time
Looking for someone with a great attitude, reliable and a hard worker.
Previous assembly and power tool experience is an advantage.
A demonstrated team player and willing to work any shift.
**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per year
