We have an exciting opportunity for a **Human Resources Consultant, Talent Specialist** in Regina, SK.

In this position, you will be responsible for the development and execution of the recruitment, retention and onboarding strategy and processes throughout the province of Saskatchewan and across all business lines.

**Your main duties will include**:
**Recruitment & Retention**
- Develops, executes, and maintains a solid recruitment strategy to meet business needs. Builds strong organizational relationships and collaborates, plans and prioritizes the recruitment needs of each business area to ensure staffing capacity. Responsible for the training and development of management on the recruitment & retention strategy, policies, interview process, legal regulations and requirements.
- Advises on job descriptions, posting vacancies on online venues, organizations and other venues as deemed appropriate. Represents, promotes and optimizes Access’s brand and value proposition in sourcing, interview process, orientation and at external recruitment career events and presentations.
- Extends employment offers negotiating within the current compensation structures ensuring internal equity.
- Participates in special projects relating to HR functions including employee engagement, talent management, training and development and safety initiatives.
- Monitors and reports on KPI’s on recruitment and retention metrics of new hires, turnover, and workforce planning to incorporate into future recruitment and retention strategies.

**Community Partnership**
- Aligns with the diversity, inclusion and equity policies to create HR strategies in partnership with immigration and newcomer organizations.

**Orientation and Onboarding**
- Responsible for new employee orientation program in alignment with onboarding priorities with respect to corporate initiatives and organizational culture and values.
- Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities.

**Competencies for Success**:

- Business diploma or degree with a major in Human Resources and five years experience in a similar role.
- Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset.
- Must be a self-starter, with strong interpersonal communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Strong written communications skills are essential. A sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.
- Acting as a role model to support a positive organizational culture that is focused on building strong employee teams in a highly competitive environment.
- Clear Criminal Record Check is required
