Equipment Operator

The Bluewater Recycling Association, based in Huron Park near Exeter, has
an immediate opening for the position of **Equipment Operator.**

Reporting to the Operations Manager, as an Equipment Operator you will play a key role in planning and organizing material flow in the operation of the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) while being responsible to operate the equipment.

**Main Duties**:

- Operation of the forklift, skid steer, front end loader, baler and/or telehandler to load materials onto conveyors for baling and sorting, moving waste materials, loading outbound trucks with material, and other activities related to the operation of equipment.
- Performs tasks as required for successful operation including cleaning, operating the scale, completing safety checks and reports, conducting minor maintenance on equipment, and assisting with line operation.

**Working Hours**:
Monday-Friday; 9:30am-6:00pm
- 1 year experience as an equipment operator would be an asset but will train
- Experience operating other heavy equipment (ie. Farm equipment)
