**Purpose**:

Nadal Management Centre is situated in the heart of the city's financial district.Schulich Executive Education (ExecEd) is an extension of Schulich School of Business at York University. ExecEd is a self-sustaining unit that offers programs to individuals and organizations with multiple lines of business, that range from Open Enrollment programming (public programs) to private in-house programming (custom programs), to support learning needs for clients in corporate, public and non-profit organizations.Reporting to the Executive Director, the Associate Director, Product Development role is responsible for portfolio management, market research, program design and experience, oversight of scheduling and managing program delivery, creation of new program offerings for both open enrollment and custom lines of business, and maintenance and upgrades to existing programs. Additionally, the role oversees curriculum design to ensure programming that is engaging, up-to-date, and aligned with industry trends. The role ensures that curriculum design is tailored to meet the specific needs of different clients/participant groups to preserve relevance, applicability, and positive, enriching, and valuable experiences for clients. Utilizing feedback and performance data, the role measures the impacts on participants' professional development and continually updates curriculum design to ensure learning objectives are met.

**Experience**:
Six (6) years related experience
Four (4) years of management experience

**Skills**:
Knowledge
Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional design principles and methodologies.
Knowledge of product management of professional development programs.
Understanding of adult learning theories and practices and industry trends in executive or higher education.
Understanding of sales and marketing of professional development programs.
Understanding of program lifecycle management, from conception to delivery and evaluation.
Knowledge of accreditation requirements, compliance standards, and other regulatory considerations relevant to program development.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to convey messages across the organization.
Effective and highly collaborative interpersonal active listening, and questioning skills.
Ability to build rapport across the institution while quickly and confidently gaining respect of others.
Effective leadership, coaching, talent management, and problem-solving skills.

**Additional Notes**:

- **Compensation**:
York's CPM Compensation Framework has a salary grid consisting of 6 or 8 steps (depending on job grade) which is reviewed annually with possible adjustments, and a lump sum Performance Based Recognition Award.
