**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas.
- Follow food safety guidelines, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
- Assist in menu planning and development, providing input on new dishes and seasonal offerings.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety procedures.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight guests.
