Founded in 1930 as an independent, family-owned distributor and re-manufacturer of lumber and building products. Today, Nicholson and Cates Limited operates one of the largest building products distribution centers in Ontario along with three lumber milling facilities located in central and eastern Canada. These facilities support the three main sales divisions: Specialty Building Products, Industrial Panel Sales, and Lumber Milling-Trading. In addition, the N&C family of companies includes Fraser Wood Siding and Thomes Limited.

**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
**Brand Strategy**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for the N&C and Fraser Siding brands, aligning with overall company objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and customer preferences to inform brand positioning.

**Campaign Management**:

- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, social media, and events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns are cohesive and effectively communicate brand messaging.

**Digital Marketing Focus**:

- Utilize analytics to measure and optimize the performance of digital marketing campaigns.

**Content Development**:

- Work closely with our agency partner to develop compelling and consistent brand messaging and visuals.
- Create and curate content for various marketing channels, ensuring it resonates with the target audience.

**Product Launches**:

- Manage the end-to-end process of launching new products, from market research to go-to-market strategy.
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure effective product positioning and promotion.

**Retail Channel Management**:

- Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies for retail channels, focusing on enhancing brand presence and product visibility at retailer locations.
- Collaborate with retail partners to create co-marketing campaigns and promotional materials tailored to the retail environment and retailer websites and e-commerce platforms.

**Budget Management**:

- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact.
- Monitor and report on the ROI of marketing initiatives.

**Market Analysis**:

- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for growth.
- Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on market dynamics and competitive positioning.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in brand management, preferably in the building materials or construction industry.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively.

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
