**SUMMARY OF ROLE**:
We are currently seeking a Service Associate to join our team in Mississauga and support the operations of the Ferguson Financial Planning team at Assante Capital Management. The Service Associate will play a crucial role in facilitating account management and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the team.

**QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**:

- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the mutual fund &/or financial services industry.
- Post-secondary education.
- Familiarity with mutual funds and other investment products.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure, while paying attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, & PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, DocuSign, and Salesforce is a plus.
- Strong analytical, administrative, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and positive attitude.
- A proven ability to interact well in a team environment, and display professionalism in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

**ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Process daily mutual fund, stock, and bond trades accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare necessary paperwork for investment purchases, redemptions, switches and in-kind transfers.
- Manage all filing activity.
- Purchase GICs.
- Update and maintain New Account Application Forms (NAAFs)
- Handle cheque requests, dividend re-investment, set-up PACs and SWPs.
- Manage bill payments and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, including payment of HST.
- Liaison with Assante back office on transfers, administration errors, and maintenance issues.
- Assist in coordinating mass mailings.
- Follow up and reconcile marketing support requests and commission statements.
- Keep current on all matters of compliance and Assante procedures.
- Please note this position is a support role only, and is not a Financial Planning or Financial Advisor role._

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
