We’re on the hunt for a **Summer Student** to join the MDA Legal, Contracts and Compliance team** **on our Satellite systems team at our Montreal office.

**Role**:
In this role, you will assist your teammates with various clerical tasks, and earn a baseline of knowledge on corporate environments, the types of contracts underlying business interactions, as well as internal policies and processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Classify data so the company has an accurate, accessible and complete record of its contractual commitments.
- Assist in the drafting of various documents, such as non-disclosure agreements and proposal letters.
- Initiate approval cycles with appropriate stakeholders.
- Update contractual registers following internal protocols.
- Participate in team meetings.
- Contribute to optimizing the team’s efficiency, namely by procuring supplies.
- Absorb business methodologies, ask questions, and learn.

**Qualifications required (experience/skills)**:

- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, e.g.: Excel
- Knowledge of Adobe PDF
- Knowledge of File Explorer
- Attention to detail
- French and English an asset
- Interest in learning
