**Specialist, Property Claims (QUEBEC)**

**What can you expect in this role?**
- Manage moderate to complex personal and commercial property claims
- Accepting notice of claim and working with the customer and preferred Vendors to ensure the best course of action is taken to resolve the claim quickly and efficiently
- Confirming policy coverage by ensuring the facts of the claim fall within the scope of the policy
- Maintaining detailed file records by entering pertinent data into the appropriate systems
- Processing claims payments within level of authority after verifying claimant's entitlement
- Initiating salvage and subrogation procedures on assigned files
- Assist in managing the property queues

**What do you bring to the role?**
- Bilingual French / English is an asset. Fluency in French is a must. High degree of proficiency with English required to service customers, both internal to the company and external, across Canada.
- Licensed AMF Loss Adjuster (5A License)
- University degree in any discipline or a 2-year college diploma from a provincially recognized and funded community college in a relevant field of study and/or the CIP designation
- 10+ years of property claims adjusting experience
- Ability to navigate through numerous screens quickly and efficiently
- Effective written and verbal communication, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Professional, friendly and courteous in all interactions, with both customers and co-workers
- Able to perform well in a busy environment and remain calm under pressure
- Team player adaptable to a changing environment

Salary range is $55,800 - $102,800

Le salaire actuel pour ce rôle pourrait différer en fonction du bureau où la personne sélectionnée travaillera, ainsi que d'autres facteurs incluant, sans s'y limiter, les compétences, l'éducation, l'expérience, les conditions de travail et le marché du travail régional.
