**The Opportunity**:
**Key Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Develop recruitment strategy and build talent pipeline for senior-level and/or critical roles across the head office and Retail.
- Continuously seeking to improve employment branding of JD, size? and Livestock on sites such as Glassdoor, LinkedIn and Indeed.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, job requirements, and team dynamics.
- Support and coach hiring managers on interview best practices.
- Manage recruitment advertising strategy, accounts and login information for job boards and tools.
- Conduct reference checks and submit background check information for processing in timely manner.
- Create employee files based on signed employment agreements and ensure the employee is ready to be added to Payroll.
- Ensure first day orientation and job-specific training scheduled and confirmed by hiring manager.
- Recruitment reporting and metrics, as assigned.
- Support with ad hoc requests when required.

**Skills/Experience/Knowledge needed**:

- 3+ years of experience in a relevant capacity.
- Experience in the retail industry (preferred).
- Solid understanding of the Canadian recruitment landscape to attract top talent.
- Good knowledge of current HR related provincial legislation and regulations.
- Excellent relationship building skills and experience providing recruitment support in a coaching and advisory capacity to all levels of management.
- Exceptional ability to collaborate and build quick rapport with key stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Well-developed recruitment techniques and practices to source and select top talent, including leveraging multiple talent attraction channels.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, prioritize, and manage a high-volume of tasks, deadlines, and requirements.
- Results-oriented and process driven, with high expectations of self and team.
- Be open and personable - ability to foster a transparent, honest and positive team environment.
