Etobicoke, Canada CRC Integrative Therapies Full time

CRC Integrative Therapies private clinic is currently looking for a Speech and Language Pathologist for consultation and assessment as an independent contractor.

The SLP will be responsible for conducting assessments and supervising our CDA team.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Responsible for the assessment of clients, establishment and ongoing evaluation and revision of treatment programs, including goals and discharge plans for children and adults who present with a broad range of communication disorders.
- Maintains current accurate clinical records according to standards set by the College of Audiologists and Speech-language Pathologists of Ontario. Documents assessment results, goals, treatment, client progress and discharge plans.
- Assessment and implementation of SLP interventions (i.e. swallowing assessments, dysphagia management, communication, language etc.) in adults and children.
- Use of a collaborative and interdisciplinary team-based approach to care and services
- Support a holistic and restorative approach to care (i.e. enhanced stroke pathway; cognitive communication supports, etc.)
- Collaborates with other members of the health care team as needed.
- Communicates pertinent information and recommendations to clients/care providers and provides education regarding treatment strategies as needed.
- Observes the performance of those assisting in the speech and language program and provides guidance as necessary.

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
- Professional Liability insurance
