Speech-language Pathologist

About:
Care to Communicate is a small team of dedicated speech-language pathologists committed to providing evidence-based, invidualized, client centered care. We work with childern from birth through school age on a variety of communciation goals. We are looking for a new team member to join us this fall to take over an established case load while a therapist is on materntiy leave. You will also be able to add new clients and continue on with the clinic following the maternity leave. Start date and schedule is flexible. All services are provided at the clinic location.
**Duties**:
- Assess speech, language, and communication skills in children from 12 months to 18 years of age.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' specific needs
- Provide therapy sessions for a variety of communication goals
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and family members
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes
**Skills**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and other professionals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess clients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Knowledge of various assessment tools and therapy techniques for speech and language disorders
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage caseloads effectively
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, required
- Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO), required
- Previous clinical experience working with children is an asset
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 8-40 per week
**Salary**: $90.00-$100.00 per hour
