Rental Property Manager

We are a Full-Service Real Estate Brokerage dedicated to providing exceptional services to property owners and tenants alike. We specialize in managing residential properties in downtown Vancouver and are committed to professionalism, integrity, and efficiency.
Our office is in Downtown Vancouver and our regular working hours are 10 AM to 6 PM (Monday to Friday).
As a Rental Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of rental property management operations, including leasing, maintenance, financial management, and tenant relations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the leasing process, including marketing available units, screening potential tenants, and executing lease agreements.
- Ensure properties are well-maintained and address maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
- Develop and implement property budgets, monitor expenses, and maximize revenue through effective rent collection and lease renewals.
- Maintain accurate records of property activities, including financial transactions, tenant interactions, and maintenance history.
- Foster positive relationships with landlords and tenants, addressing their concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Stay informed about local market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices to optimize rental property performance.
- Coordinate showings with prospective applicants and conduct move-in/move-out inspections.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for landlords, tenants, and trades, ensuring excellent communication and resolution of issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service to both landlords and tenants.
- Assist with day-to-day brokerage office operations and administration.
- Utilize property management software (Buildium) to maintain data and records.
**Qualifications**:
- **Must have** Rental Property Management License in BC.
- Proven experience in rental property management, with a minimum of 1 year in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of rental property management principles, leasing practices, and landlord-tenant laws as per the RESA and BC RTA.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with landlords, tenants, and vendors.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Person of integrity.
- Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English is essential; fluency in Mandarin is an asset.
