NOVA Chemicals Information Technology (IT) team provides IT solutions for our employees across business and manufacturing teams. We are seeking an Identity and Access Management Analyst to join our Platform Integration Services Team. You will collaborate with highly motivated team members across NOVA Chemicals to implement solutions following our NOVA Chemicals management of change process. The role will provide you with opportunities to provide IT solutions to business stakeholders along with growing your skills by learning existing and new technologies as they are introduced into the environment.
This position could be located at one of our office locations in Calgary, Alberta; Sarnia, Ontario; or Red Deer, Alberta.
**You Will Use Your Expertise To**:
Provide operational support for NOVA’s IAM (Identity and Access Management) solution (SailPoint IIQ)
User account life-cycle management, including cleanup and elimination of dormant records
Troubleshoot security and workflow issues independently or in collaboration with other IT teams and/or stakeholders, while adhering to internal service standards
Assist IAM Developers in troubleshooting issues with IAM tools and processes
Participate in ongoing auditing and risk assessments, and implementation of audit recommendations
Assist in efficiency improvements by recommending process changes as well as developing solutions to automate and orchestrate repeatable tasks for IAM
Support the enrollment of Multifactor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-on (SSO), Mobile Device Management (MDM)
**What We Are Looking For**:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 1-3 years related experience OR 5-7 years combination of postsecondary education and related experience with some professional development.
Working knowledge of the concepts and best practices related to Identity Governance solutions, such as privileged access and Identity management solutions
Skills supporting industry standard IAM tools such as SailPoint IIQ, Oracle Identity Manager or SAP IDM, including an understanding of RBAC and SOD policies
Experience with basic development and scripting skills, including Java and PowerShell, to streamline and automate project activities and ongoing tasks
Proficiency with Active Directory Domain services, including Azure Active Directory
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions when giving advice
Excellent standards of documentation and communication skills
Working knowledge of DevOps Scrum and Agile practices
Basic understanding of Git or other version control systems
Knowledge of Change and Release Management processes and standards
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Defender
