D U T I E S
Reporting to the Manager, Campus Store & Print Shoppe, the Ancillary Services Buyer receives
and checks course adoption forms for current International Standard Book Number (ISBN)
changes or Edition changes. Assists in evaluating goods and/or services and their substitutes,
and to weight price, quality and other factors affecting purchasing decisions. Generates and
transmits purchase orders to suppliers, creates official books lists for distribution to students.
Ability to work autonomously, having extensive contact with college staff, faculty, vendors,
suppliers and publishers.
- R E Q U I R E D Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S- High School Diploma
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively with a variety of
- internal and external partners- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and a high volume of tasks and competing
- deadlines- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional verbal skills
- Exceptional written skills
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook, including
- keyboarding skills- Ability to perform front line customer service/cashier activities during peak times in the Campus
