Langley, Canada As You Are Counselling Full time

**Quick Overview**

We are looking for registered clinical counsellors who:

- Have experience or interest in **specialized areas** such as ADHD, neurodiversity-affirming counselling, EMDR, 2SLGBTQI+, or other specialties,
- Can work **3+ evening shifts from 2pm to 8pm, including Saturdays**.

Those who are currently working with individuals but are training towards working with relationships are also welcome to apply. Our practice receives a high number of clients interested in individual, relationship, sex, trauma, ADHD, neurodiversity-affirming counselling, and many other specialities.

**Schedule & Compensation**
- Starting at $99 per hour
- Independent contract with a 60/40 split
- Initially part-time (15+ hours a week) which can lead to full-time based on client load (or stay at part-time if you’d prefer)
- Three or more 2pm - 8pm evening (including Saturdays) shifts required
- Combination of in-person (at our Langley office) and virtual clients

**Qualifications**
- Master Degree in counselling field, RCC or CCC, as well as, professional association membership registration through BCACC or CCPA (required)
- Ability to provide services in-person at our clinic in Langley
- Maintain functional computer, laptop or other device with mic and video camera for virtual sessions and clinical note taking
- Multicultural competency and knowledge pertaining to non-dominant cultural groups
- Ability to integrate various modalities into treatment
- Understanding of treatment plans for clients presenting with a wide array of mental health challenges
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Confidence with mobile technology (video calling), or the ability and desire to learn
- Qualified to work in private practice (recent criminal record check & individual professional liability insurance required)
- Post graduate counselling experience with clients with diverse backgrounds (optional but an asset)

**Key Responsibilities**
- To provide short term and long term individual and relationship counselling
- To work collaboratively with other counsellors and admin team
- To maintain accurate up-to-date records and case notes, including documentation of all client contracts, referrals, and consultation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $99.00-$120.00 per hour
