**PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION**

As a Health & Safety Training Manager in our facility, you are motivated and energetic and work well in a team environment. You have strong versatility and the ability to ensure Cequest Group and their Group of Companies (Civiltek, Quatro, Sturda, and TrioTek) health and safety policies are comprehensive, practical, and by local, regional, and industry guidelines/regulations. To reduce risks, Health and Safety Training manager examines manufacturing and other activities and collaborates with personnel.

**SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Monitoring workplace health risks
- Advising employees on how to reduce hazards.
- Creating systems for safety monitoring
- Converting business strategies to adhere to safety and health standards.
- Giving direction to management and staff on a health and safety approach
- Ensuring that each department is adhering to the rules.
- Reporting and responding to concerns and questions
- Staying current with relevant health and safety developments
- Establishing screening protocols in collaboration with management
- Visiting sites and conducting spot audits
- The conduct of training
- Addressing incidents and injuries
- Giving employees safety instructions
- Perform other tasks as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Strong understanding of pertinent health and safety laws and regulations
- Familiarity with the terms and policies
- Federal, municipal laws/Regulations
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence strategy and collaborate with company leadership.
- Comfortable multi-tasking, working under pressure and handling time constraints.
- Familiarity with project management and budgeting
- First aid, CPR, and any other relevant medical training
- Degree or diploma from a postsecondary institution in occupational health and safety or a closely related field of study
- Minimum experience of 7 years in the field
- First aid or emergency response training
- Capacity to protect the confidentiality of information and records.
- Willingness to actively participate in ongoing professional growth while employed.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Prolonged periods of sitting in a stationary period
- Prolonged periods of typing on a keyboard and reading a computer screen
- Ability to work in an office environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
