You possess sound knowledge of adult education principles, have strong project management skills, risk assessment, program/system auditing experience, as well as a proven ability to provide coaching and facilitation as it relates to program planning, implementation, and evaluation. Your expertise and experience will allow you to deliver health and safety training and consulting services including, but not limited to, Competent Supervisor, Common Core Modules (Mining and Forestry), supporting the Health and Safety Excellence Program, Mining Train
- the-Trainer, and CPO programs, such as Working at Heights and Joint Health and Safety Committee Certification (Part 1 and various Part 2 modules), and assisting with Health and Safety Management System Auditing.

As a natural leader, you are able to efficiently analyze complex situations, determine when additional technical support is required from your team, develop clear recommendations, and write concise and professional reports. Your ability to develop work plans and schedules, set and meet goals, and work with mínimal supervision is complemented by your ability to tackle projects alone where required, as well as excel in a team atmosphere. You are respectful, progressive and can take direction while also being trustworthy and dependable when it comes to assessing a situation and taking the appropriate action. You understand the importance of developing client relationships and following established processes including ensuring accurate information is reported in a timely manner. You have excellent time management skills and can accomplish work to a high standard while balancing your time within a 37.5-hour work week to ensure your own well-being.

You have obtained a post-secondary education or equivalent combination of training/education, complemented with seven years (7) of health and safety related experience in the industrial, forestry and/or mining sector(s). Your computer skills are considered at least intermediate, and a valid driver’s licence and access to a safe and dependable vehicle is required. It is required that you are a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or have the ability to attain this designation.
