**Responsibilities**:
- Provide direct patient care, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or memory impairments
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Document patient observations, activities, and changes in condition
**Experience**:
- Previous experience as a healthcare aide or caregiver is preferred
- Familiarity with medication administration and proper dosage calculations
- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients with dementia or memory impairments
- Experience in a nursing home or home care setting is a plus
- Knowledge of proper hygiene practices and infection control protocols
**Skills**:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina and strength to perform heavy lifting and assist with patient mobility
- Attention to detail in documenting patient information accurately and comprehensively
