Mechanical Integrity Lead Inspector

INVISTA has an immediate need for a Mechanical Integrity Lead Inspector. This role will be based out of our plant in Kingston, Ontario. This selected individual will join an existing reliability team within the asset health organization. The Mechanical Integrity Lead Inspector is responsible for ensuring the Mechanical Integrity Program is properly defined, implemented, maintained and audited. This role works primarily with fixed equipment assets in collaboration with multiple stakeholders to ensure the immediate and long-term performance and optimization of our assets.
**What You Will Do**
- Defining and implementing strategies for improved equipment reliability
- Coordinating and executing inspection, quality assurance, and mechanical/structural integrity activities
- Acting as a liaison with the relevant jurisdictional authorities and insurance companies in matters related to inspection
- Presenting oral/written summaries of all necessary information to the affected personnel or organizations
- Effectively managing multiple priorities and meet established deadlines
- Demonstrating a proven track record in achieving improved equipment reliability
- Demonstrating a high level of self-motivation, creativity and flexibility to include strong Interpersonal skills

**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Experience in Fixed Equipment Mechanical Integrity to include leading initiatives such as asset integrity programs, policies, procedures, and/or projects
- Experience assessing damage mechanisms in fixed equipment

**What Will Put You Ahead**
- Knowledge of fixed equipment repair codes and standards (ASME B31.3, Section I & VIII)
- Knowledgeable in the appropriate API inspection codes:
- API 510 for Pressure Vessels
- API 570 for Piping Inspections and Repairs.
- API 653 for Storage Tank Inspection and Repairs
