**Heavy Duty Technician**

Alberta Cryogenics has an immediate opening for a full-time Heavy Duty Mechanic to be part of our team. The person selected will need to be a self-starter, someone that welcomes challenges and that excels at working with technical issues. The person selected will also have the ability to work independently while still maintaining a team-focused environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose faults and malfunctions on equipment
- Repair and maintenance of mobile equipment
- Assemble new equipment and fabricated components
- Repair electrical and plumbing systems
- Adjust equipment and or replace defective parts, components, or systems

**Skills Required**:

- Red Seal Heavy Duty Technician (or working towards)
- Strong understanding of electrical, electronic, fluid power, and manufacturing
- Project Management is an asset
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Class 1 is an asset
- Nitrogen Pumping Equipment maintenance is an asset and preferred
- Strong oral and written communication
- Ability to be independent and spec materials as needed

- mechanical: 1 year (preferred)

- Journeyman (preferred)
