Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic

Description
:We are looking for Heavy Duty Mechanics who are ready to build a long-term career with Finning. Technicians will have the opportunity to work both in shop and field environments to grow product and mechanical experience. You will be set up with dealer grade training and fully stocked field trucks with all the tools you need to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair a variety of Caterpillar equipment.
This is a 7x7 continuous shift, where travel and camp/hotel or condo accommodations will be provided.
If you are a safety conscious team player, self-motivated, autonomous, detail-oriented and possess your Journeyperson Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Certification with a valid driver’s license, then you are exactly who we are looking for
Job Duties:
Troubleshooting and repairing Caterpillar and other mechanical equipment. Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily. Complete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes) Interact with customers, sales support, and the rest of the Finning team. Work with the Service Supervisor and Lead hand on various tasks as required.Qualifications:
Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification Dual Ticket would be an asset (DT premium pay) Valid driver's license with a successful recent driver abstract. Previous Caterpillar experience is an asset. Willingness to participate and complete additional training. Self-motivated, computer literate, and safety orientated with the ability to work under minimal supervision. Team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skillsNote:
