**Prerequisite**:

- Three to five years’ experience as a Sworn Officer or previous work in a relevant policing environment.
- Possess a Secondary School Diploma.
- Investigative and interviewing experience.
- Demonstrated experience with the use of social media platforms including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
- Knowledge of CPIC.
- Knowledge of the OACP Constable Selection System.
- Ability and flexibility to travel outside of North Bay region.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain information in confidence and exercise good judgment, trust and integrity.

**Principal Tasks**:

- Review and assess results of Local Focus and Essential Competency interviews, Pre-Background Questionnaires, resumes, academic history, employment history, etc. for Sworn, Civilian, Volunteer and Student positions as needed.
- Verify that the applicant possesses at least the minimum education requirements as listed on the position description.
- Identify potential issues requiring further investigation.
- Prepare reports reflecting the findings of each interview, comments and feedback received.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Compensation: $37.04 per hour + 8% in lieu of benefits and 5.4% vacation pay.

Hours: No minimum guarantee in terms of hours as per collective agreement.
