**Role Purpose**:

- Quality Assurance Production Coordinator will be primarily responsible for planning Quality Control/Quality Assurance priorities and standards for filling/packing area, actively works with and supports all departments in the areas of quality control and assurance.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Works with new products development team, packaging and process engineering and operation team to achieve proper launch of new programs.
- Management of product filling/packaging specifications for new product launch and revision of current products.
- Fill weight verification for new projects.
- Participating in writing and maintaining Client Specifications following quality control guidelines.
- Monitor filling/packing operations to ensure that they meet quality and customer established standards.
- Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
- Assist and complete in production occurring non-conformance, deviation investigations.
- Perform regular spot quality checks on the production floor to ensure production meets client's standards for accuracy, etc.
- Record and report on the outcomes of the quality issues to the Supervisor.
- Assist in creating and maintaining an environment that promotes positive communication within the facility as well as fostering teamwork within the operation.
- Creating, adapting and carrying out training programs in filling/packing area and transmitting the correct philosophy of product quality, and company image.
- Complete paperwork and documentation accurately and effectively.
- Preparation of Quality Checklists, Inspection and Test Plans.
- Writes SOP/GMP as required.
- Assist with the preparation of external quality audits as required.
- Completion of special projects as assigned.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- 2+ years of applicable experience in a Quality or Manufacturing Personal Care field
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in written format with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Professional, courteous, approachable manner with a "can-do" attitude
- Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to accomplish multiple goals
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills/ must adhere to tight deadlines/respond quickly to situations/be able to effectively execute solutions
- Self-disciplined and accountable with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize work effectively and meet multiple deadlines.
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
