**Position Description**:
The CHSS Center for Research and Quality is seeking to hire a Clinical Research Project Coordinator to work at The Hospital for Sick Children in the Labatt Family Heart Centre to assist with the coordination of a large multi-institutional study. The Clinical Research Project Coordinator works closely with the CHSS Kirklin/Ashburn Fellow, CHSS Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator, and Clinical Research Project Coordinators and Assistants to assist in study operations.

**Here’s What You’ll Get To Do**
- Screen, recruit, consent and enroll patients from SickKids and participating CHSS member institutions
- Perform data entry, data collection, chart abstraction and database management
- Build relationships with patients and site coordinators to promote continued engagement in CHSS studies and obtain required information
- Provide support to other research team members, including the CHSS Kirklin/Ashburn fellow
- Maintain regulatory compliance by managing study renewals, amendments and terminations
- Assist in developing, coordinating and keeping current Research Ethics Board approvals and Data Use Agreements documents for all 70+ CHSS participating institutions.
- Co-organize and attend the Coordinator Sessions at the CHSS Annual Meeting
- Assist with planning and provide organizational assistance and attend the biannual CHSS Data Centre conferences (“Work Weekends”)
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, and conversion of paper patient charts to electronic formats, and other duties as assigned
- Provide support for website administration

**Here’s What You’ll Need**
- Bachelor’s degree in science, social science or a health-related discipline, Master’s degree strongly preferred
- 2-3 years’ experience in clinical research
- Strong knowledge of research regulations including Tri-Council Policy Statement (TCPS), ICH Guidelines and Good Clinical Practices (ICH-GCP), N2 SOPs, and HIPAA and PHIPA regulations
- Effective communication, interpersonal, facilitation, organizational, time management and problem solving skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to take initiative
- Ability to function independently yet collaboratively within a team
- Recognized certificate in clinical research (eg. CCRP or CRP) is an asset
- Solid computer skills in Microsoft programs including Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of database programs like REDCap, Access, Epic is an asset

**Employment Type**
- Full-time, Permanent (35 hours per week)
