**Job Title**: Railing installer

**Reports To**: Shop Supervisor

**Hours**: 7:00 am
- 4:00 pm Monday
- Thursday, Friday 7:00am to 12:00pm

**Pay**:$20.00- $30.00

**SUMMARY OF POSITION**

Assist with the installation of railings, newels, spindles, and trim, in new construction and residential renovation settings, by following work orders specific to the jobsite in a safe and efficient manner.

**Responsibility** _(Job tasks are as outlined, but not limited to)_:

- Picking up materials and delivering them to job site
- Reading work orders and following them closely for installation
- Removal and demo of existing railings
- Installation of rail systems
- Maintaining a safe and clean work-site throughout installations.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Track all equipment and supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and how it pertains to railings
- Finish Carpenter skills
- Working with various hardwoods
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to work well in a team
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Valid G driver’s license
- Working at Heights certification is an asset
