We offer several designated marshalling points within BC including Nanaimo, Vancouver, Kelowna, Kamloops, Williams Lake, Prince George, Smithers, and Calgary, AB.

We are seeking an individual for a remote opportunity working Monday through Friday with occasional travel to the Vancouver office or Red Chris site as necessary.

Role Purpose:
Oversee the management, delivery, reporting and data management of Learning & Training content through the Newcrest Learning Management System.

Manages requests, assignment profiles, item & curricula creation, online training programs, as well as face to face content and information to support the Learning Management System (LMS). Supports the development of learning programs, capability framework data and courseware information within the LMS. Provides and establishes global reporting, analytics and help desk support to internal stakeholders. Responsible for quality assurance of codes and information, ensuring adherence to governance processes, and manages accurate data for linked systems.

Accountabilities:

- Production_
- Uses My Learning (LMS) to produce timely and accurate HR/Training and Learning data, reports and information.
- Develops or assists in developing Standards, procedures, templates, checklists, etc. for all LMS processes and systems.
- Administering My Learning (LMS) and training processes for monitoring and review of risk controls, standards compliance, and legal compliance.
- Constructs curriculum and learning program structures within the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Production of monthly reports as required to the Senior Specialist Learning and Technical Training Support
- Maintains data integrity rules and processes.
- Performs all system and user administrator tasks on LMS.
- Provides help and support to additional system administrators and end users.
- Supports the building and scheduling of instructor led offerings within the LMS.
- Working with and establishing effective relationships with key operational stakeholders, to identify and prioritize specific auditing and evaluation requirements for the site.
- Analyzing the outcomes of audits and assessments to identify key control issues and improvement opportunities.

- Monitors and reports on costs associated with the Learning Management System
- Manages expenditure in accordance with budget and NML financial policies

Qualifications & Experience:

- Relevant Bachelor Degree and Post Graduate or TAE40116 qualification advantageous.
- Previous experience in Learning Management Systems and Data Management.
- 5+ years relevant work experience essential.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Excellent verbal, written communication and public speaking skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and autonomously.
- Experience with Learning Literacy and Numeracy challenges within a large workforce
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Strong active listening & interpersonal skills for rapport building, conflict resolution & negotiations.
