**SALARY RANGE**:$45,900.00 to $54,855.00 Per Annum

**POSITION TYPE**:Full-time, Temporary** (1-Year term)**

**LOCATION**: Saskatchewan

**ACCOUNTABLE TO**:Director of Health and Director of Mental Health and Addictions

**Brief Overview**:
Under the direction of the Director of Health and Director of Mental Health and Addictions, the Health Program assistant will be responsible for the day-to-day account payables, maintaining data entries and assisting the Health and Mental Health program staff with citizen payments and program invoicing.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process invoices and receipts from clinicians/ counselors/service providers for payment.
- Prepare and process payments for citizens, hotel accommodations and other service providers.
- Support data entry and maintain financial record of accounts payables and expenses.
- Assist with preparation of budget monitoring and reporting for programs with input from Director of Health and Director of Mental Health and Addictions.
- Maintain the confidentiality of the MN-S client information records.
- Ensure proper filing and record keeping of Health and Mental Health programs.
- Assist Health and Mental Health Program staff with data entries, setting up accounts or making updates to related program information.
- Any additional duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in business administration, finance, and bookkeeping and/or education with accounting, finance, and administration.
- 2-3 years experience in business administration, accounting/finance or equivalent.

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Proven experience in a previous similar role.
- Knowledge of the structure and policies of federal, provincial and MN-S.
- Accounting and financial management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Diligent with great attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills: oral and written.
- Knowledge of Métis culture.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Valid Saskatchewan driver’s license and access reliable transportation.
- Must undergo a Criminal Record Check with the Vulnerable Sector.
