Maintenance Planner

**Project**
The **Woodfibre LNG** Project is located approximately 7 km west-southwest of Squamish, British Columbia. It involves the construction and operation of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility on the previous Woodfibre pulp mill site, which would have a storage capacity of 250,000 m3 and would produce approximately 2.1 million tons per year of LNG.
**Woodfibre Management Ltd. **is a privately held Canadian company based in Vancouver and a subsidiary of Pacific Energy Corporation Limited.
**Position**
**Key Responsibilities**:
The successful applicant will:
- Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) using CMMS and the scheduling tool (Primavera P6 and MS Project) for Planning & Scheduling process for Maintenance Execution both for routine maintenance as well as for TA/SD.
- Plan, maintain and optimize a resource leveled schedule based on manpower inputs from execution team with a frozen 1st wk schedule 100% loaded, an approved 2nd wk schedule 80% loaded and a 3rd wk 70% loaded look ahead.
- Identifies task description, resources, materials, services, tools, duration and cost estimate of each task and provides guidance for effective planning & scheduling and evaluate feedback for efficient execution subsequently.
- Issue weekly schedule & produce daily, weekly prelim & final schedules with their baselines for tracking purposes.
- Use Primavera & MS Project to Import and maintain logical network of resource loaded activities in an LNG Production facility.
- Plan, Schedule and follow up (update schedule) during execution for all planned and unplanned TA / SD.
- Drive accountability for daily schedule updates and compliance with agreed CMMS completion dates.
- Maintain the volume of prepared corrective/preventive backlog work orders as well as their priorities knowing when to bring the work into the specific week for execution.
- Validate job plan details and provide regular feedback to maintenance supervisors and own manager as necessary.
- Optimize work activities for efficient execution, reducing time loss in preparation, execution and work closure.
- Regularly communicate with maintenance and production supervisors and publish shared resources and services.
- Compile necessary documents (e-package) needed for field execution e.g. reference documents such as equipment manuals, drawings, procedures, as per standard WPSE planning practice.
- Make initial contact with vendors for onsite services to provide scope of work and tentative start dates.
- Ensure master data for the SAP maintenance modules are kept up to date (Asset Hierarchy, BOMs, Maintenance Work Instructions, etc.) by consistently liaising with the respective Discipline Sr. Engineers, Reliability Engineer and Maintenance Supervisors.
- Support annual budget preparation and monthly cost control through activity based maintenance planning and reporting from the CMMS.
**Requirements**:
**Required Experience**:
- Engineer, Technologist or Journeyman with proven minimum 8 years maintenance planning & scheduling experience in a petrochemical, oil refinery or heavy industrial facility with similar equipment used in Oil & Gas industries.
- Must have advanced experience with SAP-PM & SAP-MM CMMS (SAP-Blueprint or S4H), Primavera, MS-Project & other work platforms.
- Maintenance planning & scheduling experience in Turnarounds/Shutdowns is preferred.
- Must have experience in front line maintenance execution.
**Primary Interaction**:
- Daily/Weekly collaboration with Maintenance and Operations supervisors, Machine Shop and Engineers.
**Additional Requirements**:
- Experience working with large multi-disciplinary teams in a multicultural environment is an asset.
- Ability to interact/communicate with front-line workers through to management and all hierarchical levels.
- Able to accept responsibility and demonstrate commitment to the delivery of tasks and targets.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-driven, manage evolving priorities and deliver on multiple commitments in a timely manner.

- A valid driver’s license.
