Dragados Canada, Inc., the Canadian construction arm of the ACS Group (one of the world’s largest international construction and engineering companies), is seeking a talented and experienced** **Document Controller **to join our dynamic and energetic team in **downtown Toronto**.**
Dragados Canada was established in 2008 and has grown steadily into an industry-leader in Canada, with offices in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal, successfully performing a variety of large-scale transportation, bridge, dam, tunnel, and other major infrastructure projects.
**Responsibilities**
- Follow, maintain and manage the maintenance of document control
- Receive and date-stamp incoming documents, as well as logging, distribution, filing, reviewing and obtaining approvals
- Effectively communicate appropriate documentation updates to the client and other stakeholders in a timely manner and provide accurate progress reporting
- Register feedback and comments received from client on the documentation updates /tracking logs and communicates these to the bidding team
- Actively inform the team in the event of new requirements from the client that may cause changes in the document management process and/or scope
- Lead modifications required to customize the document control and document management system to meet awarded project requirements
- Establish the interface with partner’s external SharePoint sites
- Follow the complete and accurate archiving of bidding documentation
- Participate in third party/ internal audits as required, being fully cognizant of appropriate plans, policies and procedures and respond effectively to requests for corrective actions to maintain ISO status
- Maintain a professional relationship with all parties whose documents/records are received and to whom they are distributed
- Provide timely communication to the team with regards to document priorities, late submittals, and overdue responses
- Work with internal teams to understand project requirements
- Assist the proposal team with editing, proofreading, review and other task as needed
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Administration, or other relevant discipline
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in document management, preferably in an engineering and/or construction-related field
- Extensive experience with SharePoint and/or using ACONEX or BIM is considered an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in French and English (excellency in writing) is highly preferred
- Excellent editing and proofreading abilities
- Detail-focused and document organizing abilities
- Good at managing time and workload
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and an ethical mindset
