This is a full-time, permanent position, requiring a minimum commitment of 37.5 hours per week.

**PRIMARY ROLE**:

- Engage in conversations with Members/Clients to ascertain their preferred destinations, transportation choices, travel dates, financial considerations, and accommodation needs.
- Achieve sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and meet other assigned performance metrics.
- Strategize, describe, organize, and promote all elements related to the travel requirements of Members/Clients.
- Address unexpected issues, complaints, or escalations and determine the appropriate actions for resolution.
- Research on various travel destinations.
- Present travel solutions to our Members/Clients that align with their vacation preferences.
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of travel booking invoices.
- Participate in staffing CAA Niagara events that require a travel presence.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
To be given serious consideration for this position, please ensure that you meet the following criteria:
**Experience**: A minimum of 2-3+ years in the Travel industry
**Education**: Post-Secondary education in Travel & Tourism / TICO certified / Certified Travel Counsellor (CTC) designation (An asset)
**Skills**: Computer literacy is a must, and you should thrive in high-pressure environments. Success in this role requires exceptional problem-solving, troubleshooting, and attention to detail skills.
**Characteristics**: You should exhibit self-motivation and a genuine passion for travel and continuous learning. Building relationships should be something you enjoy, and you must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
**Hours & Location**: As a Travel Consultant, you must be able to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, and weekends on rotation. You must have the ability to work at any one of our four locations: Grimsby, St. Catharines, Welland, and Niagara Falls.
