We are currently recruiting for a detail oriented **Product Design Intern (Co-op)** to be part of our Marketing & Product Development team. In this role you will be responsible for assisting the design team with new kits development and customer sample requests. Support would include mocking up designs, cutting templates, assisting with cutting sample cookies, preparing packout samples and assisting with maintaining/organizing lab.

**Location**:

- Onsite - 15 Marmac Drive, Etobicoke, ON

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist Designers with workload to support the development of new kits:

- Assist Designers with mocking up new designs
- Create templates from drawings to cut sample cookies
- Assist the Product Design Samples Coordinator in preparing large sample requests and packouts to learn the Kits sample request procedures and the elements that make up a kit:

- Will prepare multiple packout samples of kits under the Samples Coordinator’s supervision
- May assist with packaging or components, cookies, candies, etc.
- Assist Product Designers in collecting product information such as product weights and measurement
- Provide accurate data for cookie weights and test packaging fit under designer supervision
- Assist in hand cutting cookie samples on the line, sorting and organizing cookie samples and drawing embossing on cookies
- Assist in organizing and maintaining samples in the test kitchen under the supervision of the Samples Coordinator including identifying items to be ordered, tidying and organizing.
- Perform other tasks as required

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in a culinary, baking, or pasty arts program in university or college.
- Good communication skills
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Multitasking/ Flexible to change
- A great team player
- Basic Cake Decorating & piping skills
- Ability to change directions as per the needs of the Customer and Give & Go
