The Case Aide is a full-time permanent program support position. The Case Aide provides assistance and support to the front-line workers responsible for the case management services for children in the care of the agency. The Case Aide reports to the Resource Manager in all aspects of the job functions.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Community College Diploma preferred or High School Diploma with 2 years of directly related experience; a combination of skills, education, and experience may be considered.
- Understanding of Customary Care, service delivery philosophies, First Nation communities, and local customs and traditions.
- Familiarity with the Child, Youth and Family Services Act and Regulations.
- Knowledge of Anishinaabe Abinoojii Family Services’ structure, service model, policies, and procedures.
- Experience with high-risk and special needs children; understanding of youth developmental needs.
- Ability to follow directions and align with the Agency’s philosophy and guidelines, supervise family visits, and establish relationships with staff, families, and caregivers.
- Ability to ensure the safety of children during transport, lift and carry up to 50lbs, and possess a valid Ontario G Driver’s License with a clean Drivers Abstract.
- Strong communication, time management, and adaptability in daily work hours; must enjoy working with children and maintain confidentiality.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates required.
- Must be willing to provide Vulnerable Sector Check with no records.
- Ability to speak Ojibway is an asset.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:
**Salary Range: $44,845.9 - $55,000 per annum**

**Benefits**: AAFS offers Extended Health, Dental, AD&D, and Group Life benefits to this position after one month of employment as well as voluntary participation in our Pension Program.
