Development Team Lead

Alteo is looking for a Development Team Lead for a permanent position based in Montreal.
** Hybrid work - up to 100% telecommuting **
Your main responsibility will be to manage a small team of developers, with the aim of improving processes and team synergy. You will also act as a link between the head office and the Montreal office to set up an operational framework. Your role will be less that of a technical advisor, and more that of an organizational coach. The aim is to make the most of the team's talents, and to put in place a structure that will enable the team to grow. This approach is part of a growth perspective.
**Responsibilities**:
- Set up an operational structure in liaison with company management
- In collaboration with the team, set objectives and priorities, and ensure they are achieved.
- Manage the team's human resources: annual assessment of team members, salary review, needs planning, recruitment, etc.
- Ensure support for new developers to put them in the best conditions for rapid and successful integration into the existing team.
Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 10+ years' experience in software development
- 3+ years' experience in a development team leader role
- Good knowledge of various programming languages
- Good knowledge of industry standards and best practices
- Excellent listening and analytical skills
- Natural leader with a collaborative style
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Excellent bilingual French-English communication skills (oral, written)
Alteo est à la recherche d'un Chef d'équipe développement pour un emploi permanent basé à Montréal.
** Travail hybride - jusqu'à 100% télétravail **
Votre responsabilité principale sera d'encadrer une petite équipe de développeurs, dans le but d'améliorer les processus et la synergie d'équipe. Vous assurerez aussi le lien entre le siège social et le bureau de Montréal afin de mettre en place un cadre opérationnel. Vous aurez moins un rôle de conseiller technique, et plutôt un rôle de coach organisationnel. L'objectif est de tirer le meilleur parti des talents de l'équipe, et de mettre en place une structure qui va permettre d'agrandir l'équipe. Cette démarche s'inscrit dans une perspective de croissance.
Responsabilités:
- Mettre en place une structure opérationnelle en lien avec la Direction de l'entreprise
- En collaboration avec l'équipe, établir les objectifs, les priorités, et s'assurer de leur réalisation
- Gestion des ressources humaines de l'équipe: évaluation annuelle des membres de l'équipe, révision des salaires, planification des besoins, recrutement etc.
- Assurer l'accompagnement des nouveaux développeurs afin de les mettre dans les meilleures conditions pour une intégration rapide et réussie à l'équipe existante
Profil:
- BAC en informatique ou l'équivalent
- 10+ années d’expérience en développement logiciel
- 3+ années d’expérience dans un rôle de Chef d’équipe en développement
- Bonnes connaissances de différents langages de programmation
- Bonnes connaissances des standards et meilleures pratiques de l'industrie
- Excellente capacité d'écoute et d'analyse
- Leader naturel au style collaboratif
- Excellente capacité d'organisation et de planification
- Excellent communicateur bilingue français anglais (oral, écrit)
