**The Opportunity**
Business is booming at Flexspring. To boost our marketing outreach, we seek a talented PR SEO Specialist to pitch branded content and gain backlinks that support our SEO strategies. Flexspring focuses on HR data integration. You’ll pitch B-to-B software solutions. You’ll rarely work more than 30 hours per week. This job has an excellent life/work balance.

What will you do in this role?
- Own PR and link-building strategies for our target keywords.
- Pitch and place stories to secure high-quality backlinks.
- Search for placement targets and negotiate sponsored content buys on Human resource-related blogs, software blogs, and niche industry sites.
- Work closely with our marketing and partnership team to develop branded content suitable for backlink pitches.
- Assist the marketing team by writing articles that include backlinks, most often repurposing and revising existing marketing content.
- Build relationships with our software partners’ marketing teams to identify opportunities for content placement that secure high-authority links.
- Send your final copy and design requirements to our design team to finalize materials such as infographics or branded art.
- Assist with monthly SEO reporting (analyzing backlinks using ranking metrics for target keywords).
- Reach out to websites to repair broken backlinks.
- Work directly with our VP of Marketing to brainstorm new marketing and SEO ideas. Our primary job is to increase inbound leads for the sales team and we do that mainly through strong SEO.
- Essential Skills and Experience
- College degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Management or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in a relevant B-to-B marketing position.
- Experience in marketing technology. Software as a Service (SaaS) marketing experience.
- Experience with SEO tools like Ahrefs or other SEO software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as presentation skills.
- Partner-friendly. You’ll need to build trusted relationships with a partner’s marketing team to win high-authority links.
- Write clear, concise, and quick. We typically turn around deliverables within 48-72 hours.
- Self-aware, motivated, and coachable, with the ability to collaborate with all team members. We often collaborate to improve marketing copy.
