**The Opportunity**

We are currently looking for Snow Heroes (Crew Leads) for **Landscape Maintenance and Snow Removal.**

We train snow men and women to become Snow Heroes. YOU will help make and keep our city safe

Are you our next Snow Hero?

The Crew Lead will work alongside a team of peers and collaborate in performing their duties.

Some key responsibilities include:

- Perform general landscaping maintenance, and snow clearing for a variety of residential and commercial properties.
- Operate and maintain various equipment such as mowers, aerators, clippers, sod cutters and snow blowers.
- Maintain lawns and grass along roadsides.
- Spray and dust trees, shrubs, lawns and gardens, as directed, to control insects and disease.
- Trim shrubs
- Clear accumulated snow from residential and commercial properties as required.
- Drive truck and trailer
- Lead a small crew

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1 year experience lawn maintenance or grounds maintenance is helpful
- **Must drive. Must provide current Class 5 license and have clear Driver's Abstract for past 3 years.**:

- **Truck and trailer experience and willingness to drive with a truck and trailer.**:

- Ideal for a high-energy and fit person
- Time management skills.
- A good attitude is necessary as this job can be physically and mentally demanding.
- Transportation to and from work is necessary

**Working Conditions**
- This is a safety-sensitive position.
- Must wear Steel Toe Boots at all times.

- Working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, hot, cold, rain, snow, or shine.
- New equipment that is cleaned and maintained.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
- Weather Dependent
- 4 am or early start times in winter

Our office and yard is at 1415 28 Street NE. At the back of the building.
