- Responsible for leading cross functional tasks through the lifecycle of assigned projects
- Works with internal stakeholders and team members to establish project framework: tasks, work breakdown structure, milestones, schedule and budget
- Is familiar with general project management practices and facilitates other team member’s interpretation.
- Assists the Director of Customer Programs to define and manage work scope, change control and all controlled documentation related to various projects
- Communicates and facilitates the execution of defined strategies, contingency and risk mitigation plans and develops workarounds as needed for tasks on the critical path
- Maintains project plans and schedules the project tasks, milestones and deliverables, identifying resource constraints that jeopardize the schedule
- Prepares and submits project status reports to senior management and the customer
- Facilitates project meetings
- Assists with the maintenance of project and program budgets
- Maintains the RAIL (Rolling Action Item List) with internal stakeholders and team members
- When required additional roles and responsibilities may be assigned

**Responsibilities**
- Assist the business development team with technical support and resource estimates to allow for the generation of accurate bids and proposals
- Create and manage a project schedule which includes critical milestones
- Participate in design/production reviews as necessary
- Manage technical aspects of a project (design, analysis, certification, etc.) as part of a team which includes customers and vendors
- Create technical data and specifications as required to complete projects in accordance with customer expectations
- Provide sourcing support for non-standard materials and hardware
- Provide production support (internally)
- Provide product support (externally)

**Requirements**:

- Any suitable combination of at least 2 of the following credentials or equivalent work experience
- PMP certification
- Aerospace / Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology
- Business Administration
- Innovation Management
- Engineering or Manufacturing Management
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a project orientated environment
- Manufacturing experience considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of MS Office is required
- Working knowledge of MS Project considered an asset
- Knowledge of other project management software an asset
- Must be comfortable with ambiguity and conflicting priorities in a faced pace environment
- Must have excellent judgment skills with the ability to evaluate and take educated risks
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills required
- Strong interpersonal skills required
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
- Demonstrated conflict resolution skills are an asset
- Aerospace industry experience considered an asset
- Ability to speak and understand French is an asset
- Basic knowledge of contract law an asset
- Must be willing to relocate
