In this role the Credit and Collections Associate will assist the Credit and Collections team with collections from clients.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Process credit notes;
- Process drop shipment invoices;
- Process invoices;
- Release of Return Authorization and file accordingly;
- Prepare weekly statements and monthly reports for assigned accounts;
- Full cycle collections procedures for assigned accounts;
- Manage and provide required documents to fulfil auditor requests;
- Reconcile customer accounts, resolving discrepancies;
- Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies;
- Process freight claims;
- Assist with collections of outstanding accounts and responding to customer inquiries;
- Manage and prepare various reports for different departments;
- Process incoming payments, posting and allocation of electronic payments;
- Collaborate with other departments to review status of accounts and confirm good standing to qualify to participate in internal marketing promotions;
- Other duties as required.

**Education and Qualifications**
- Related post-secondary program completed, is an asset;
- 2+ years of collection experience in a high-volume AR department;
- ERP experience;
- Excellent English communication skills;
- Bilingual French is an asset;
- Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate, post, correct, and manage accounting figures and financial records;
- Strong negotiation skills is an asset;
- Proficient with MS Office suite of products;
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills;
- Tactful approach demonstrated with clients.
