Axsera is a dedicated and experienced team of telecommunications industry professionals who have been supporting clients with wireless and public safety technology, wireless engineering, repairs and technical services for over 20 years. Our clients are telecom service providers, enterprises, utilities, and government entities.
Job Overview
We are expanding our Operations team and are seeking a full-time Operations Coordinator at our head office in
Lachine, QC. As a member of the Client Care team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Sales, Operations, and Repair Teams with their day-to-day activities. You will collaborate with various team members, external partners, and clients to ensure overall operational efficiency.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Client Care & Operations
- Create quotes, sales orders and supplier purchase orders ensuring to the appropriate sales tax rates to quotes and invoices.
- Create and maintain reports for open quotes, backlog orders, invoicing etc.
- Provide customer support by providing data sheets, pricing, vendor information and lead times
- When required, place outbound calls to clients & suppliers
- Follow up with peers, clients and suppliers.
- Assist the Client Care & Procurement Manager in completing tasks and/or projects
Equipment Repairs
- Manage RMA (Repair Material Authorization) requests from clients, including the preparation of quotes, outsourcing repairs to authorized suppliers, and purchasing replacement parts.
- Update weekly report of repairs completed and shipped, including financial details.
- Maintain a list of pending repairs and their expected turnaround time.
- Managing consignment inventory with third party sales partners.
Assets
Familiarity with one or more of the following would be an asset but is not mandatory.
- Local and international regulations governing logistics and transportation.
- Import and export of goods according to various US and Canadian regulations: o CUSMA (Canada-USA-Mexico free trade agreement) o CARM (Canada Assessment and Revenue Management) o CERS (Canadian Export Reporting system) o HS (Harmonized Coding System)
- Basic technical knowledge of Telecom components, PCB’s, radios, power supplies, etc.
**Qualifications**:
- College degree (DEC, DEP or equivalent) in Administration or related field
- Fluent in French and English, speaking and writing
- 2-3 years experience in a high-paced Sales, Logistics or Warehouse environment
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and Outlook
- Core competencies are organization, teamwork, time-management, accuracy, effectiveness under stress, flexibility and reliability.
- Customer focused with strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, coordinate projects and respect timelines
- Attention to detail and passion for continuous improvement
- Familiar with resource planning and/or logistics software
Additional Information
- Job location: Lachine, Quebec
- Reports to Client Care & Procurement Manager
- Full time on-site position, Mon-Fri, 8:30 to 17:00 (1 hour lunch)
