**Drafting and Design**

With over 30 years of experience, **OPSCO Process Corp **is dedicated to supplying quality packaged equipment, pressure vessels and piping for oil and gas production, heavy oil processing and refinery operations on domestic and international projects utilizing our industry leading personnel and maximizing our modern 84,000 sq. ft. fabrication facilities in Calgary.

Accountabilities:

- Responsible for accurate completion of P&IDs, vessels, skids, layouts, and piping isometric drawings for various process packages.
- Attend meetings and model reviews to discuss design aspects.
- Utilize AutoCAD and CADWorx (2021) for 3D design and detailing of components per engineering instructions.
- Ensure compliance with project scope, specifications, standards, drawings and other documents
- Prepare accurate mechanical and assembly shop drawings in a timely manner according to project production and delivery schedule.
- Responsible for checking of cross discipline drawings for adherence to fabrication tolerances and OPSCO’s design standards and practices.
- Adhere to OPSCO’s Safety Policy and Code of Ethics.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Engineering Design & Drafting Technology graduate or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Experience in piping process equipment in a fabrication facility is an asset.
- Good Working knowledge of ASME/ANSI B31.3.
- Knowledge of CADWorx and AutoCAD.
- Comprehensive understanding of P&ID’s and piping layouts.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
