**About the Role**:
The Production Specialist Manager is responsible for providing administrative and operational support while leading a team of Production Planning Specialists and managing the department’s day-to-day operations to meet organizational and sales objectives by means of managing, assisting, mentoring and motivating direct reports and providing on-going skill development to ensure that our internal and external customers receive top-notch service and support. In this role, you will help to process information and resolve issues by serving as the resource person for complex job orders with the Production Planning team and assist in moving work along as they plan, execute and finalize client projects from inception to delivery. You will ensure compliance with policies, procedures, programs and legislative requirements such as PIPEDA, Health & Safety, operational standards and our in-house Quality Management process. As a key player in the production process, you will drive team performance, provide KPIs, and foster a positive culture of service excellence. You will hit the ground running with an immediate focus on facilitating cross-training between our Print and DM Production Coordinator teams.

**About You**:
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have successfully completed a post-secondary education in a Graphics Communication Management program or similar and have previous experience working in a commercial print facility with a sound knowledge of print production and Direct Mail coupled with Canada Post guidelines and regulations; at least 3 years of project and people management experience with a proven track record in maintaining a positive, pro-active work environment. To be successful in the role, you have demonstrated organizational skills, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, well developed leadership skills and have a sound understanding of customer care. Additionally, you are proficient with MS Office software, specifically with Excel, have exceptional and creative problem-solving abilities and flexibility in dealing with revisions and changes while meeting project deadlines.
