**Salary Range**:$52,700 - $65,900. Salary is based on a 35-hour work week.

**What You Will Do**

Reporting to the National Manager of IWWR, the Operations Coordinator will provide leadership in the coordination of operations at the program and project levels and in administrative processes, requiring initiative, attention to detail, organization, and excellent communications skills. The Operations Coordinator will work with staff to support research and other programs, lead development of tracking and reporting tools, and identify and implement efficiencies in program delivery. A goal of this position is to continually improve operational performance of the research team, and thereby facilitate conservation science delivery.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Contributing expertise to ensure effective delivery of IWWR’s programs by providing operational recommendations and administrative assistance on strategic planning, annual budget preparation, and related matters
- Analyzing IWWR operational processes, then recommending and overseeing implementation of efficiency improvement strategies, including tracking performance metrics
- Developing project and program scale implementation plans, including efficient resource sharing.
- Assisting with management, administration, and operations of major projects
- Overseeing general office administration to ensure effective and efficient implementation of office procedures and operations
- Serving as the Human Resources liaison for IWWR, facilitating hiring and leading onboarding processes

**Requirements**:

- An undergraduate degree in environmental science, ecology, or related field, with extensive knowledge of field work. Additional training in business administration an asset
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in operations and logistics management
- Excellent time management skills and ability to effectively prioritize work
- Exceptional personal communication skills, both written and verbal, with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to track, analyze, and improve operational efficiency at program and project scales
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of operational excellence frameworks is an asset.
- Proven track record of success working with cross-functional teams and fostering key relationships
