The Loading Dock Coordinator is responsible for managing the loading dock area and ensuring all orders are staged in assigned zones labelled correctly to meet company and customer delivery/ pick up commitments in accordance with the company’s s policy and procedures.

**Loading Dock Process Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with Order Processing Manager to create efficiencies in the shipping/loading dock processes
- Communicate any shipping or loading dock inefficiencies/requirements to the Order Processing Manager
- Ensure that all orders to be shipped have been labelled correctly and at no times placed over Company’s brand.
- Ensure all packing slips and BOL affixed to shipment.
- Ensure all orders have been staged in designated shipping zones.
- Ensure all shipments meet company and customer delivery commitments.
- Ensure all paperwork is returned to Shipper.
- Ensure UPS Southbound logistic trailers are loaded within the stipulated timeframe provided by Management and to maximum skid capacity and skid and box counts agree to Master Invoice
- Ensure all scheduled Company’s preferred carriers and client preferred carriers’ shipments are verified against BOL and loaded in a timely manner.
- Ensure a high level of professionalism and courteous y with Company’s preferred carriers and pick up clientele.
- Ensure Order Processing Manager is notified at end of day of any scheduled pick
- ups that did not meet required pick-up date to be rescheduled.
- Ensure all Company’s loading dock processes are always adhered to.
- Ensure all “Unpacks” are removed from assigned zones and staged in the “Unpack Zone” for processing.
- Be fully ad versed in Company’s shipping processes.
- Always ensure the loading dock area is clean with no obstructions in designated walkways.
- Be fully knowledgeable in the functions of the department to assist in other areas as required.
- Ensure Company’s Health and Safety Policy & Procedures are adhered to at all times and notify Management if any incidents or breach of these policies incur.

**Academic/Educational Requirements**:

- OSSD or equivalent
- Valid Forklift Class Certification

**Required Skills/Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years shipping/receiving or warehouse experience.
- Forklift certification
- Safety conscious always
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast faced environment.
- Ability to work well on a team but be self-motivated and independent at times.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Great attention to detail
- Positive attitude
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability and willingness to take initiative.
- Willingness to learn and work to the best of his/her ability and be versatile/cross trained in other warehouse functions.

**Working Conditions**
- OHS regulated facility.
- Clean, heated warehouse environment, with frequent exposure to outside temperatures around the loading dock area

**Salary**: From $39,500.00 per year

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- shipping/ receiving and warehouse: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

- Forklift Licence (required)
